- I am currently working with YWAM (Youth With a Mission), a worldwide Christian missions organization, learning how to effectively work with and minister to children around the world! I'm receiving 3 months of training in Costa Rica right now, and will soon be traveling to a new location to partner with ministries and organizations to work with children full-time. I'll be updating this blog weekly, so stay posted to hear what I'm learning and doing while away!! My goal is to minister to and work with children in need who have been abused, exploited, overlooked and forgotten. Through creative play, the formation of safe relationships, and counseling, I want to restore hope, bring about holistic healing and help each child develop their individual talents and personality in order for them to reach their full potential. My hope is that each child would be recognized as a precious and valuable person, have their rights protected, and be able to live fully as God originally intended.
